myserialnumbers site launched
Today Tuesday 1st April, saw the launch of the myserialnumbers webiste. myserialnumbers is the UK's first on line registry for storing the serial numbers of your identifiable possession
The myserialnumbers registry is being made available to all of the 52 Police forces in the UK, enabling them to identify the owners of recovered stolen property and in some circumstances before the owners even realise that there has been a burglary.
Mr. Michael Brookes one of the cofounders of myserialnumbers has quoted "I feel that with the ever growing numbers of on line users in the UK and the perpetual fear of many about burglary, that myserialnumbers is ideally placed in aiding the public and police within the UK, to in reducing both the fear of crime and in catching criminals."
